Billie EilishaLil Nas X, obaja prví nominanti VMA, boli tiež blízko vrcholu zoznamu. Spevák Bad Guy dostal deväť, kým rapper osem. Tohtoročná show bude obsahovať aj dve nové kategórie, Best K-Pop a Video for Good.
Fanúšikovia môžu od utorka do štvrtka 15. augusta hlasovať za víťazov 14 kategórií. MTV Video Music Awards sa vysiela na MTV v pondelok 26. augusta o 20:00. ET.
